Jurnal Hukum Keluarga is a peer-reviewed journal published by PT. Ratu Bilqis Az-Zahira, in collaboration with Faculty of Sharia, Universitas Islam Zainul Hasan Probolinggo, Indonesia. This partnership reflects a shared commitment to advancing scholarly discourse and promoting high-quality research in the field of Law Studies. This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge, E-ISSN: 3089-1167.

Jurnal Hukum Keluarga aims to provide a platform for academics, researchers, and practitioners to publish original research articles or review articles. The scope of the articles published in this journal includes various topics related to family law, including: legal aspects of marriage, family rights, analysis of prenuptial and postnuptial agreements, divorce and its impact on families, child custody arrangements, inheritance distribution according to family law, dynamics of family relationships, domestic violence and legal protections, as well as social changes and their impact on family structure.

We are published twice in a year (January-Juny,  July-Desember) in Indonesian and English. Therefore, the editors are pleased to announce the Call for Papers for the next issue to be published.

Volume 3 Number 1 (2026) of the Jurnal Hukum Keluarga presents a rigorously peer-reviewed collection of scholarly articles authored by researchers from 6 participating countries, namely Indonesia, Malaysia, Egypt, Thailand, Marocco, and Singapore, involving various universities and academic institutions. This issue contributes to contemporary discussions on family law, Islamic family law, socio-legal studies, women’s rights, child protection, judicial practices, and legal reform within Muslim societies.

The articles in this issue explore various contemporary legal challenges through normative, empirical, and interdisciplinary approaches, highlighting the dynamic interaction between Islamic legal principles, state regulations, and social transformation in modern society. Several contributions specifically address legal protection, judicial interpretation, gender justice, family disputes, and the development of Islamic legal thought in responding to contemporary societal issues.
