Archiving Policy

AZWA: Journal of Islamic Education is committed to ensuring the long-term preservation and accessibility of its published content. The journal supports digital archiving and author self-archiving practices to maintain the integrity, permanence, and accessibility of the scholarly record.

Self-Archiving Policy

Authors are permitted and encouraged to deposit:

  • Pre-print version (the manuscript before peer review), and
  • Post-print version (the accepted manuscript after peer review and before final layout),

in institutional repositories, personal websites, or other recognized academic repositories immediately upon acceptance for publication, provided that proper acknowledgment of the original publication in AZWA is clearly indicated.

The final published version (Version of Record) may also be shared in accordance with the journal’s Open Access and licensing policy.

Digital Preservation

AZWA ensures digital preservation of its content through the journal management system and repository backup mechanisms to guarantee continued access and long-term availability of published articles. This preservation strategy safeguards the journal’s archive against data loss and technological obsolescence.
